What is in my purse? To sum it up- its a disaster.
I have about 20 receipts.
a package of those little kleenex things
lip stick
a flip drive-I don't remember whats on it or why its in there.
my wallet
a pen
a little notebook for recording notes and random thoughts
a little metal token that says, "love token" on one side and the other says, "Good for one romp in the hay." (I bought it while Brigham was still in Iraq, and forgot that I had it.)
gum
My purse looks a lot better now that I removed all those receipts.
My Hubby
1. What is his name? Brigham Bennion Redd
2. How long have you been married? Almost 13 years.
3. How long did you date? We knew each other for 2 1/2 years before we got engaged. A year and a half of that was on my mission.
4. Who eats more sweets? I don't eat that much- but definitely me! Brigham would just as soon have another serving of dinner. Although, this pregnancy I have been craving a ton of sweets.
5. Who said I love you first? This is crazy- but I can't remember. It was probably me- I will have to ask Brigham what he recollects.
6. Who is taller? Brigham
7. Who can sing better? Definitely Brigham- His mom is in the MoTab after all. Although his Dad is completely tone deaf. Brigham used to sing to me all the time, complete with a make believe microphone in hand. Now he sings mostly to the kids, but occasionally I still get the microphone.
8. Who is smarter? Brigham is definitely book smarter. But I am better and quicker I might add, with common sense and practical analysis. Well maybe not better- just much, much quicker. :)
9. Who does the laundry? Me, I think he has folded the clothes maybe once or twice.
10. Who pays the bills? I do. Occasionally, I will get him up to date on where we stand.
11. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Brigham does- I have to be closer to the bathroom, since I get up a bajillion times a night.
12. Who cooks dinner? Me. If I am not home Brigham tells the kids it is time for Merry-Go-Round. They pull out several cans from the cupboard, open them up, dump them in bowls then everybody grabs a spoon. They each get to eat at a bowl for awhile until it is time to pass the bowl around the table. It doesn't sound good to me, but the kids get a kick out of it. Brigham does make breakfast occasionally. He makes some mighty fine pancakes.
13. Who drives? Definitely Brigham, I do not like him to be in the car when I am driving- too many comments.
14. Who is more stubborn? Absolutely me- Brigham is always very sweet and gentle to me.
15. Who kissed who first? Brigham kissed me first, but I certainly helped persuade him. It was after a Haunted House date on Halloween.
16. Who asked who out first? Brigham did, I cancelled another date that I had so that I could go with him. We went to a BYU football game.
17. Who proposed? He did.
18. Who wears the pants? I'd have to say we are pretty equally yoked. We make most decisions unitedly.
Hey this was a lot of fun! Thanks Kel. Shaela- consider yourself tagged.

Happy Belated Valentines Day!
Valentines Day was celebrated a week late in the Redd home- due to us all being apart last week. Brigham and I were in Idaho Falls for a house hunting expedition. But.... we celebrated in style tonight.
We cut out our chunky valentines then everyone wrote something they love about each other on them. We sat down to a candlelight dinner of lasagne with the works. You know a little Italian, language of love, yummers. While we were eating we read what was written about each other and then toasted them. It was a lot of fun. Katry and I were toasting across the table and we knocked over a candle- right into the lasagne. A lovely red liquid/ wax spilled out onto it. We all had a good laugh over that. Fortunately, once it cooled it was easy to lift out. What an amazing- fun family I have. I love you all so much!

Northeastern States Trip- Oct 2007
The Sacred Grove. What a beautiful feeling there is there. This is the first time I had seen it in the fall, with the colorful leaves and leaf strewn path. Delightful!
The Liberty Bell. Another American icon. We loved Philadelphia with its Independance Hall and the signing of the Declaration of Independence etc. It is neat to stand in the same place as our great and admirable forefathers.
