They designed some sweet gingerbread houses!

Oh how they fill my heart with joy!  Love bugs!

Two Top

We left the boys in Utah to play with their cousins and took the rest on a snowmobiling trip up to Two Top.  I believe the trail is named that because you go to the top of it and you can see into two states.  It was a beautiful, very cold trip.  We stopped at this cute little cabin that you can only get to by snowmobiling and warmed up with some tasty hamburgers.  Good memories!

Salt Lake City Staycation

The actual Christmas Day we spent down in Utah.  

We were able to spend the day with the Thompson's enjoying Swedish Thin Pancakes, Amazing homemade egg nog, basketball, volleyball, a traditional Christmas feast, lots of games with great family!

The next day we watched the Saratov approach, visited temple square, had a pool tournament and just all around relaxed and enjoyed the holiday!

Oh, this was an emotional Christmas! It was most likely the last Christmas with Brigham for awhile.

Wow, growing up is hard to do!  For me anyway!

We had a lovely, relaxing day, and went and watched the Hobbit 2.

We also had a freezing fog, that was just beautiful.

All this fun  is exhausting!

Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas Eve a couple days early again.  Cause that is how we roll!  

It is a habit we started in residency when Brigham would have to work on a holiday.  

I must admit we love it, and I guess it is mostly possible because we have never lived around family.

We invited our friends and neighbors the Andersens over to help us out with our nativity reenactment.

Then the kids opened their PJ's  and showed them off.

Thanksgiving 2013

So much fun to have most of the Thompsons here for Thanksgiving!

We had a lot of fun just hanging out and eating good food.

Thanks for making the trip!

Best. Dad. Ever!  Mark and J lost their keys to their car- and our papa hopped in his car to make the 

3 1/2 hour drive up here and back to bring them their spare!  

He is amazing!
