New Year's Eve

We spent New Year's Eve with the Redds in Farmington.  My cute sister Auntie J and Uncle Mark spent the night with us too.  Sooo much fun to have them.

We ate a lot and played a lot and bashed up a dragon piniata!  

2012 is the year of the Dragon!

It is the luckiest sign- so hopefully it will be a lucky year!

Welcome 2012!

Legoland

Our final day we spent at Legoland.

This is our family at Legoland 8 years ago

and at Legoland today!

This is the perfect park for little guys!

This is Seth today.....

and 8 years ago.  Seth is a great kiddo but I miss this little fellow!  So sweet!

The older kids loved it too- cause it was fun and the architecture was just so much fun to look at.  Particularly the mini cities made out of legos.  

About halfway through the day Kaleb came down with Montezumas revenge and a couple hours later Kai joined him.  I just wish it would have held off 4 more hours so they could keep enjoying it.  As it was they didn't want to leave until they had finished some things.

Our little family has doubled in height and size!

Driving the cars was at the top of their list.  It is so much fun to get to do something by yourself.

As we left the park Katry joined in the "Revenge" and later that night in the hotel room Seth and Brig and I.  The only ones to escape the dastardly disease were Laini and Dad.  Lucky!  It was a long night in the hotel room!  Luckily the madness stopped before our eight hour drive home!  

It was a rough end but overall a fantastic vacation and an awesome Christmas Memory!

Six Flags 3rd Day

The 4th day of our trip we headed back to Six Flags for the 3rd time.  We hit all of our favorite rides again.  This time we even got Kaleb to try out Tatsu.  He liked it.  Poor Kai wanted to go on all the rides- but was just too short.  We hit X2 again and Superman!  They are all fantastic rides.

On our way to the log ride we passed by the Dive Devil again.  This time Seth wanted to try it out so Brig and I joined him.  It was amazing!!!  We highly recommend it!

On our drive down to San Diego we pulled over to watch the sunset.  It was interesting and looked very pixelated and computer generated.  Another great day!

An Amusement Park & A National Park

Our 3rd day we headed back to Six Flags for some high thrills.  Our first ride was X2!  Brigham convinced Kaleb to take it for a spin.  This was his first large roller coaster.  After I went on it- I was upset with Brigham for taking Kaleb on it.  That was the scariest ride I have ever been on.  Fortunately, it didn't damage Kaleb for life and he tried out some other coasters.

 (It was also our 2nd favorite- but definitely the scariest.)

This was unanimously our favorite ride.  Tatsu!  You are in this position the whole time and it is like you are flying through the air.  Soooo cool!

The child swap feature was really good to us and some of us got to ride twice in a row!

Then we headed up north to Sequoia National Forest in our Sequoia.  The big redwood trees are amazing!

We went on a nice little hike and investigated some local habitats.

It was a long drive and we wished that we had had more time there.

Truly an exceptional beauty!

Six Flags Magic Mountain

We ventured to California for our Christmas gift this year.  Our second day was spent at Six Flags. 

 It was a blast.
