Happy Halloween!

Halloween was perfect this year.
The weather was delightful, no one had to wear coats and bundle up, going door knocking into the biting cold wind.  It was so nice- even Grandma Naegle who was visiting us helped hand out candy at the door. It was perfect.
Jack-o-lantern pizza!
The kids shuffled their costumes around a few times.  Usually they were a superhero of some sort.
Our neighbors made scones from their garage.  Heavenly!
Little buddies- wouldn't you know it- I couldn't find the boots to Laini's outfit until two days later.
Oh well!
Kids came by on trailers- or riding 4 wheelers or Razors.  Love our neighborhood!
The kids hit up our home last.  Laini was exhausted- she even curled up in a ball on the cement.
The Loot!
The day after Halloween I went shopping for treasures on sale.  I found this Batman costume for Kaleb.  It was a little large on him- so I thought that maybe I could fit into it.
Guess what- It did!  The kids got all dressed up again- Seth even joined us.
Super!

Lucky Us

We are so lucky!!! We had Uncle Staven, Aunt Ashlee, Gabe and Jathan over for a couple of nights.  They are such a darling family and so much fun.  We loved having them and getting to know their cute kids.  We don't get to see them nearly enough.  It was such a treat for us.
Thanks for coming!  We love you!

Fall Soccer Wrap-Up

Brigham had a great soccer season.
His team started out strong, then faltered, then picked up speed again.
His finished up the season in first place for our district.  He was the leading scorer on his team and ranked #4 of all soccer players in Idaho.
He was a lot of fun to watch- always played like a champion.

Katry finished up the season as the lead scorer as well.  She scored 18 goals this season which is one more than her brother.  Much to his chagrin.  She was also the only freshman invited to play on the Varsity team.  Her team also finished in first place in our district.
Katry also has the heart of a champion.  I love to  watch them make things happen.
I don't know how I did it- but I don't have a single picture of Seth playing.  He was on the Junior High team.  He is also a great player and so much fun to watch.
Now we are on to indoor- where the weather is always nice!

Best. Conference. Weekend. Ever!!!

For Conference weekend this year we rented a cabin up in Island Park.
It was perfect!!!  We built puzzles, played games...
watched a little LOTR
chopped wood
built a fire
roasted marshmallows
enjoyed each other's company
talked and laughed
hot tubbed to our hearts content and had great conversations about what we were learning in conference.
In between sessions we took off on the four wheelers and explored the trails and mountains.
We had a Smorgasborg for every session and the SMILES never stopped.
It was HEAVEN on EARTH!
