Uncle Mormon's Farewell

It was a pleasure to be in Utah for this great guy's farewell.

He did a great job, and will be an excellent missionary!

Mini Golf

While Seth was at Scout Camp- we drove to  Boise to watch Brig and Katry in a High School Soccer tournament.  It was awesome and they both played really well.  In between games we found some fun things to do like.......mini golf!

Happy Birthday Brigham!

For Brigham's birthday this year, I surprised him with an excursion.  I packed a picnic lunch and we loaded up the four wheeler and headed to the mountains- just the two of us.  It was so much fun!  We loved racing on the trails and eating lunch on a mountain peak over looking the valley.  

It was a perfect afternoon!

Thompson Family Day at the Park

While we were in Logan, my brother Heath and his family stopped by for a visit.  So I left Seth with some soccer friends and headed down to Alpine for a mini reunion for the day.

Cache Valley Tournament

This was a weekend of major divide and conquer.

Katry was at girls camp, Brig and Dad were at High Adventure and the kiddos, 

Seth and I were in Logan.

His team fought hard.....

unfortunately, the ref fought harder for the other team.  I hate it when games are decided by a ref.

Oh well, it was a good experience.  Seth played up two years on this team.  They are Katry's age- but he has also played with them before.  He was finally old enough this year to play with them on a competitive team and rocked it!

Ward Patriotic Breakfast

Our ward had a patriotic breakfast on July 6th.  

Seth participated in the flag ceremony.

Katry and the Young Women sang to us.

We had a bike race with decorated bikes.

Luckily there were no casualties!
