Redd Family Reunion

We had a fantastic family reunion hosted by the Whites and Jansons this year.  Thanks so much- it was wonderful!  This year all of the cousins had numbers on the back of their shirts to show what order they arrived in.  41 cousins in all!

All the Aunts and Uncles in attendance.  We were missing 4 uncles and 1 aunt at the reunion.

We went boating for a day.

Impact Tournament

Brigham had another tournament in Utah.  We saw some great games and they walked away with the gold medal.  Brig even had the game winning shot in the championship game!

Cousins of Awesomeness!

This year the Redds had a "cousin reunion" for those cousins that were 12 and older.  They got together and did some fun activities.

They went on a hike in Logan.

Made matching T-shirts.

Spent a day at Lagoon.

Basically just partied for 3 days straight.  They had a lot of fun.  Cousins are the best!

They surprised Katry with this cake for her birthday!  Good times!

From Tween to Teen

Oh- Our Katry girl is now 13!  Happy Birthday Beautiful!

I am amazed at how difficult this is to write.  My heart feels so full of emotion.  Our sweet little angel eyes is growing up so so quickly.  She is such a gem!  Katry is so talented.  She writes amazing poems and stories.  She is a great artist.  Katry makes the best desserts.  She is a champion on the soccer field.  She plays with the boys and I have never seen her back down when going up against a larger opponent.  She runs so fast.  Katry has a lot of natural skill- but what makes her so good is the determination in her heart.  

Katry is loved by her siblings.  She and Seth can play all day together.  Kai and Elaina are just as content to go to her as they are to me.  They know that she loves them and she takes care of them so gently and lovingly.  Katry is a great daughter- she is obedient and responsible and ALWAYS gives us a hug and a kiss before heading to bed.  Katry- thank you for all the joy you bring to us.  We LOVE you so much!

Birthday Ride

We have a birthday tradition in our family that the "birthday person" gets to pick a couple of activities for everyone to participate in.  This year I chose a four wheeling ride.  We loaded up and headed for nearby Kelly Canyon.  We had so much fun!

We took a lot of great, adventurous trails.

And found some beautiful spots to rest.

Elaina has clearly crashed.
