And it is a lovely place. However, we can't have you flapping away in fright every time the door is opened- and it is opened-a.lot! Furthermore, when you do finally lay eggs- I think your little chicks that hatch would be frightened as well. And it isn't pleasant to have mud splatters (for the nest building) and bird pooh on our front door. Therefore, you have been fired and it was needful to remove your beautiful much laboured on nest. It has been relocated in a beautiful, nearby tree. I hope you enjoy your new home and your fulltime employment as a mother, as your services will no longer be needed on our welcoming committee. Sincerely, Redd Haven

Oh my goodness that is too funny. I hope she finds her new location ;)
Haha! We had the same thing happen to our front door wreath...but it had a really sad ending. The bird laid her eggs, they hatched and one night frightful loud bumping and scratching sounds were heard (by me...alone, kids in bed and Sperry deployed). I was freaked out, but I looked outside, then opened the door and there were all the chickies on the cement porch. Poor little birdies...but a cat's got to eat. I didn't dare save them. The cat came back and ate well. Sad, huh? Best that you moved your nest. It was a little too much nature for me that night. Great wreath, by the way! :)
