Hungary's Carpathian Basin is essentially a thin crust covering a vast reservoir of hot water. The city has 123 natural springs and two dozen thermal baths. This bath is arguably the cities top destination.
How often do you get to soak in the baths surrounded by beautiful, large-domed copper topped buildings? It was amazing. Inside those buildings they have 20 or so super hot and ice cold baths. We also experienced saunas with therapeutic lights, and aromatherapy. We had a great time sweating in a sauna and then jumping into an ice cold 60.8 degree water.
It was the perfect way to spend a blazing hot afternoon.
