After Vintgar Gorge we drove around Lake Bled. It was very beautiful and very crowded.
So we found a cafe and enjoyed the town's famous local specialty, Kremsnita. It was a vanilla and custard cream cake and it did not disappoint.
We decided to drive to Lake Bohinj about 40 minutes away. It was much less crowded and just as beautiful- minus an island in the middle.
We rented a canoe and went for a row.
Chillin'
At this point, I had had enough of these boys and their canoe rocking antics. Katry and I took turns going out and neither one of us minded getting off. Those boys are crazy!
We drove to Lubjiana for the night and were treated to this spectacle. there were about three lines of wires around this building all full of peoples shoes.
