From Plitivik we drove across the Istrian Peninsula to Rovinj. Rovinj is an old world oasis. It has lovely twisty streets and with its location right on the coast its charm was inviting.
We enjoyed an adventurous lunch.
Shrimp risotto
And a VERY large plate of calamari. Now a little calamari is okay- but this was out of control.
But its size did allow for everyone to eat some tentacles.
Katry ate some too- but she popped it in her mouth before I could get a picture.
Oddly enough, they had these candy stores all over the place, mostly strange shaped gummy candy.
