Homecoming 2012

Brigham took his good friend Abigail to Homecoming this year.  I am not going to lie- Abby is one of my young women and I was disappointed that her dress wasn't more modest.  I didn't expect it of her. She and Brigham have been good friends for the last two years.

My friend Cherie and I put on the dinner for their group.  These were our cute little servers.

There were ten kids in the group.

They got to ride in this sweet limo.

They had a great time.  Brigham had to stay after the dance to help clean up and Katry got to attend the dance as well- since they are both in Student Government.  

I can't believe how grown up my handsome little boy is!?!

Blue Hurricanes

Cute Kaleb is on a team with his Dad as his coach.  He loves getting the extra time and attention from his Dad.  He is a great player.

Blue Lightning

Kai is playing soccer for the first time on a team this Fall.  His coach is his beautiful sister Katry.  She is doing an excellent job and is so patient with those rowdy boys.  They love her and if she can't make it to practice- due to her own game- they are very sad.

Kai is very animated in life and is no different out on the soccer field.  He often talks out loud as he is running to get the ball.  Saying things like-"That ball is mine",  or "Take that!" as he punches it down the field.  

He is super aggressive and a blast to watch.

Katry is coaching to pass off one of her Personal Progress goals.  She is amazing!

Bobcat

Cute Kaleb earned his Bobcat back in June- but he just barely got put in the "system".  

We put on his Bobcat pin upside down and then when he does a good deed he gets to turn it right side up.  He is such a great kiddo!

We are lucky to have him in our family!

Soccer Shootout

For the last three years our kids have participated in the Knights of Columbus Soccer Shootout.  They have always done very well.  Brigham won it his first year (and the only year he was eligible, Katry has now won it in her age group for three years (this is her last eligible year),  Seth came in second place and Kaleb won it for his division.  The Redds know how to Kick it!

The Redds also know how to control it.  Nice work Chach!

Master Chef

Seth made us a delicious pear tart for our treat Sunday night.  He is becoming a legend in the kitchen!

Rite of Passage

Learning to ride a bike is one of life's great rites of passage.

A true sense of accomplishment for the little person. 

It is so sweet to watch a Daddy-o following behind steadying and encouraging.

Kai cheered himself on as well- when his dad would let go he would chant-"I'm doing it!  I'm doing it!"

Date Meister

Now that Brigham is 16- he is a dating meister.  He only laments that there is not enough time in a week to date as much as he wants and keep up with his grades and soccer.  Good times!
