Happy Halloween!

The kids carved the pumpkins from our garden.

Laini was a princess, Kai was Captain America and Kaleb was an Army guy, though Kaleb is the only one in costume here!

We got to visit with Grandma and she put on her Halloween mask for us!

Kaleb on the Pitch

Kaleb had a great season.  He has a powerful boot and a sweet aim.

We loved cheering him on!

Seth on the Pitch

Seth played or should I say "starred" on the middle school team this year.

He had a great season, played center mid most of the time.  

He is a smart soccer player with a great feel for the field, beautiful passes and nice shots.

His team won the district championships!

Katry on the Pitch

This gal is fast, so much fun to watch!

She just understands the game, has beautiful passes and beautiful shots!

She was the leading scorer.

Her team went to State and and she scored once and set up the play for another goal.

We love watching her play!

Brigham on the Pitch

Brigham's senior year has flown by.  We have loved watching him play.  

He has so much hustle and skill and heart!

Last night I was talking with a girl soccer player and she said she loved to watch him play because he was a "Work of Art"!  :)

He was made a team captain and led well.

Their team played well and lost in the district championship game to a team they had handily beat before.  It just wasn't meant to be.  Tough end to four great years.

General Conference

We watched the Sunday Morning Session with the Thompsons.  

We love it, cause they always have a Smorgasborg that we can snack on during the sessions.

Priesthood Session

Look at my handsome boys!  Brigham wants to take our boys to the Priesthood session at the Conference center when they turn 12.  He wasn't able to get tickets last year- but he was this year!

His little brother Alma got to come along as well.  It was a special experience!

Halloween Project

We found this cute little Halloween bowling set on Pinterest and just had to make a set for our families that we would be seeing in Utah over General Conference weekend.  

The kids had a great time painting and decorating.

They turned out darling!

More Harvesting

We grew some sweet giant pumpkins this year!  

Why haven't we grown pumpkins before?  They are awesome!

So is he!

We also have an awesome raspberry patch.  Big, beautiful, delicious raspberries!

We are able to harvest around 4 buckets like this a week!  Love it!

Apple Picking

Our friend has a yummy apple tree and wasn't using them, so they invited us to come over and get as many as we wanted.  It is is so much fun to climb up in a tree and recover bushels of yumminess!

We made applesauce and apple cider and ate and ate and ate apples!
